Functional & Root-Cause Nutrition
Feel like yourself again, starting with why.
Fatigue, gut issues, and low energy aren't things to just live with. As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I use lab testing to find what's actually driving how you feel — then build a plan around your body, not a generic protocol.

Who I work with
If this sounds familiar, you're in the right place.
Gut health
Bloating, irregularity, or a gut that just doesn't feel right, even after trying to "eat clean."
Everyday quality of life
You want to feel genuinely well, not just "fine" — more steady energy, clearer skin, better sleep.
Chronic fatigue & burnout
Running on empty for months, and coffee stopped being enough a long time ago.
How we work together
Two ways to get started.
Whether you want full support through the process or just want a clear read on your labs, there's a starting point built for you.
3-Month 1:1 Coaching
Full root-cause partnership — testing, a personalized protocol, and ongoing support to actually implement it.
- Initial intake & health history review
- Personalized nutrition & lifestyle protocol
- Check-ins & adjustments over 3 months
- In-person or virtual sessions
Single Lab Test + Protocol
A focused option — run one lab, get a clear, actionable protocol based on the results. No ongoing follow-up.
- Choice of one diagnostic lab panel
- Full results walkthrough
- One written protocol based on findings
- A great low-commitment starting point
The testing behind the plan
We don't guess. We test.
Protocols are built on lab data, not trends — using trusted panels that show what's actually happening in your body.
Food sensitivity
KBMO FIT Test
A comprehensive food sensitivity panel that identifies specific foods triggering inflammation — a key piece for anyone dealing with unresolved gut or skin issues.
Functional diagnostics
Genova Diagnostics
Advanced functional lab panels covering gut function, hormones, and nutrient status — giving a full picture beyond what standard bloodwork shows.
Understanding the root cause
What actually causes leaky gut?
Leaky gut doesn't happen overnight — it builds up from everyday stressors on your digestive system. Here's what commonly contributes to it:
Diet & digestion
Poor food choices & low fiber
Low-fiber diets slow transit time, allowing digestive byproducts to concentrate and irritate the gut lining over time.
Lifestyle
Chronic stress & alcohol
Ongoing stress and overconsumption of alcohol both place a direct burden on gut lining integrity and immune function.
Medications
NSAIDs & antibiotics
Frequent use of medications like Advil, Motrin, aspirin, and antibiotics can disrupt the gut lining and microbiome balance.
Environment
Sensitivities & toxin exposure
Food and environmental sensitivities, plus daily exposure to household chemicals, add cumulative stress on your immune system and your body's ability to repair itself.
About Parsley Nutrition
For five years, I lived with acid reflux, bloating, itchy skin, and stomach pain that no doctor could fully explain — just an IBS label and no real answers.
What finally changed things was working with an NTP who focused on gut health specifically — treating candida overgrowth and rebalancing my gut microbiome, instead of just managing symptoms. That's what led me to become a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner myself: I wanted to be able to give other people the root-cause answers I spent years looking for.
Parsley Nutrition takes that same root-cause approach with every client — understanding what's actually going on in your gut, hormones, and nutrient status, then building a protocol around your specific situation, not a one-size-fits-all plan.
Outside of client work, you'll usually find me hiking or kayaking around Kentucky, or spending time with my family — especially my nieces and nephews. I work with clients in Richmond, KY in person, and virtually anywhere else, on the issues that quietly wear people down: gut health, low energy, and burnout that regular check-ups keep missing.
